Do you remember?
How I was a shy little girl, you saw past it.

Do you remember?
How you became a sister to me, our bond so strong.

Do you remember?
How you loved the scent of tulips, in the fields they grew.

Do you remember?
How the love of your life proposed, your smile so bright.

Do you remember?
How happy you were to about to bring life in the world, a soul so pure.

But you can't remember...
All the things I've learned from you.

You can't remember...
All the admiration I hold for you.

You can't remember...
All the laughers and smiles I'll make at graduation.

For on that tragic August night,
Fate saw it to take you away to the clouds.
And even though my future memories will be made without you by my side...

I'll always remember.

Weird how I can only write well when I'm writing about something that broke my heart. Otherwise, I write like crap. The paper version of it is with my friend's parents. No reason for me to keep it since I'm at University away from home, and it gives them comfort knowing that their daughter had someone hold on to her memory.
